Saturday Skin got me with the packaging. I’m not even going to pretend otherwise. 😭 I saw the bottles and immediately thought they looked like something I’d want sitting on my bathroom shelf. Luckily, the products themselves weren’t just cute. The moisturizer I tried was light, comfortable, and worked nicely for daytime. I especially liked that my skin didn’t feel coated afterward. I’m pretty picky about that because anything remotely sticky makes me want to wash my face again. I’ve slowly tried a few more things from the brand since then. Nothing has made me throw out my entire skincare cabinet, but I keep reaching for these, which probably says more than anything else.
Saturday Skin is one of those brands that makes skincare feel fun without being too complicated. The moisturizer I tried felt light but still gave my skin enough hydration, especially during the day. I liked the packaging too, although that was definitely part of what convinced me to buy it in the first place. My skin looked more comfortable, which was all I really wanted.
The waterfall glacier water cream feels nice and cooling at first, but it leaves a sticky residue that never fully sinks in.
