Weleda is one of those brands I reach for when I don’t want anything too complicated. The Skin Food cream is thick, so I mostly use it on my hands, elbows, and really dry patches instead of all over my face. It has such a familiar, comforting feel to it—nothing fancy, just something that works well for me.
Weleda Skin Food is one of those products I always reach for when my hands get ridiculously dry. It’s thick and definitely not something I’d call lightweight, but overnight it makes a noticeable difference. The herbal scent is pretty strong, though.
I love Weleda for its rich, nourishing formulas, especially when my skin feels dry. The botanical scents can be noticeable, but my skin always feels soft afterward.
Weleda skin food is an iconic product for a reason it repairs dry knuckles and flaky elbows overnight like magic.
My mother used Weleda when I was growing up, so trying it again felt oddly nostalgic. What surprised me is that I still like it for the same reason she did: it doesn’t make skincare feel complicated. I’ve tried plenty of newer brands, but this is one I keep coming back to.
The herbal scent is definitely noticeable, so it may not be for everyone. I personally enjoy it and like the simple packaging.
I tried using Weleda skin food Light on my face because it’s marketed as a natural moisturizer. It is loaded with alcohol and essential oils like linalool and limonene. My face instantly broke out in hives and red patches that took a week to calm down.
The skin food is completely un usable on the face unless you want an immediate breakout of cystic acne. The level of lanolin and beeswax in this formula completely suffocates the skin. It feels like putting heavy petroleum jelly on your face.
The Skin Food cream worked amazingly on dry patches and gave my skin a healthy glow overnight
Weleda Skin Food saved my hands during the cold season. I keep a tube in my nightstand and use it after washing dishes, because apparently adult life is just dry knuckles and bills. It’s thick, almost too thick for daytime, but overnight it’s magic. The scent is herbal, so not everyone will love it, but I do. Little greasy at first but worth it.
Brand is okay i guess. nothing too special but not bad either.
Smells herbal. Works okay but not strong.
Been using their Skin Food for years. It’s unbeatable for dry hands and elbows. Natural, affordable, and reliable
It is too greasy and smell is off for me.
A classic brand! The Skin Food cream is thick but works wonders on dry patches. Sometimes too heavy for my face, but perfect for body and hands.
Texture can be greasy; scent strong herbal, not for those who dislike natural aromas.
Weleda’s Skin Food has been a lifesaver during the winter months! It’s rich, nourishing, and perfect for dry, rough skin. I use it on my hands and elbows, and it instantly soothes and hydrates. I also love that it’s made with natural ingredients. It’s a must-have for anyone battling dry skin.
I noticed less redness and dryness.
Too oily and made me purge badly with constant peeling.
Works wonders on skin. Highly recommended products.
Easily one of the best skincare products I’ve used!
