Virtue has become my “my hair has been through enough” brand. 😂 I color my hair and use heat more often than I should, so I was looking for something that would make my hair feel less rough without weighing it down. The first time I used the treatment, I kept running my fingers through my ends afterward because they felt so much softer. No, it didn’t erase all my questionable hair decisions, but it definitely made my hair easier to deal with. I have since repurchased, which is how I know I’m actually impressed.
Everyone talks about their patented keratin, but this heat protectant made my hair feel brittle and straw-like after just two blow-outs. It has a weird, tacky feel when wet, and once heat hits it, my ends felt completely fried instead of smooth. I ended up having to get a 2 inch trim to get rid of the rough texture it left behind.
