Unseen sunscreen acts like an amazing makeup primer with zero white cast, but you burn through a standard tube in less than three weeks if applying the correct amount daily. If you sweat or workout outdoors, it migrates easily and stings your eyes severely. Great for daily office wear, but pricey to maintain.
I used to be the person who would put sunscreen on only when I remembered I was supposed to be wearing sunscreen. So… not very often. 🙃 Supergoop! made it much easier because the formulas I’ve tried don’t feel like the thick sunscreen I grew up with. I especially like using it before makeup because I don’t spend the next hour wondering why my face feels greasy. It’s become one of those products I automatically reach for now. I will say, though, some of the products are definitely priced like they know you’re going to become attached. 😂 I’ve tried cheaper sunscreens that I like too, so I don’t think you NEED Supergoop!, but I do enjoy using it.
I used to skip sunscreen under makeup because I hated that heavy, sticky feeling. Supergoop! changed that for me. The one I use feels more like skincare than sunscreen, and I don’t spend the whole day thinking about it sitting on my face. I actually finished the tube, which says a lot because I’m terrible at remembering to repurchase things.
Unseen sunscreen is the only SPF that doesn’t make me break out or leave a grey cast on my skin. It acts like a silicone primer and keeps my oil under control all day.

Okay I know everyone raves about Supergoop but man this didn’t vibe with me. I tried the Glow Screen and the Play lotion. The Glow Screen made me look like a disco ball, like the shimmer was way too much for my combo skin. Maybe on camera it’s cute but in sunlight I just looked sweaty. The Play sunscreen felt okay at first but after about 3 hours it started feeling heavy and tacky especially around my neck.
Also for the price these bottles are small. I went through the tube in 3 weeks which is kinda ridiculous. And the scent… it’s like this faint plastic-sweet smell that just lingers. I wanted to like it so bad because everyone on TikTok does but nope. I’m going back to my drugstore SPF that’s half the price and doesn’t make me shiny like a frying pan.
