Revlon has been in my makeup bag for YEARS, which honestly says a lot because I’m constantly buying random things to try. 😂 I grabbed one of their lip products before a dinner because I wanted something easy, and it ended up becoming one of those products I reach for without thinking. Nothing fancy or complicated. Just good color, easy to use, and I don’t have to baby it. For the price, I really can’t complain.
The skincare line relies way too heavily on old-school formulations filled with denatured alcohol and harsh fragrance. The cleanser left my face feeling tight and squeaky clean in a bad way. It felt like washing my face with dish soap.
I picked up a Revlon lipstick on a random drugstore run and ended up going back for another shade. 😂 The color payoff was better than I expected, and it stayed on through coffee without disappearing completely. It does feel a little drying after a few hours, but for something I bought on a whim, I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it.
Revlon is one of those brands I keep coming back to even after trying more expensive makeup. I recently picked up one of their lip products on a random drugstore trip and ended up wearing it constantly. Sometimes you really don’t need to spend $40 on something to get a good result.
The ColorStay longwear makeup formula has definitely changed. It used to be my holy grail, but the new bottle is super runny, clings heavily to dry patches I didn’t even know I had, and oxidizes to an orange shade after an hour.
I needed a new lipstick five minutes before dinner and grabbed this because it was the easiest option. Somehow it ended up being the product I kept using afterward. The color worked with almost everything I wore, and for the price, I really can’t complain.

the PhotoReady foundation is my go to for work days. Covers redness but still looks natural. Ive tried more expensive stuff and this holds up pretty well. Not super long wear if it gets really hot though.
I’ve used ColorStay Makeup for years. It holds up through my 10 hour restaurant shifts. Doesn’t melt off even when I’m running around. It can look a tiny bit cakey if I over apply. Still my go to foundation.
Revlon ColorStay Foundation has been my go to since high school not even kidding. Survived my college finals tears and still looked ok. Good coverage and cheap. Shade match is decent for drugstore.
The lipstick color is really pretty and smooth going on. It just doesnt last very long once you eat or drink. I had to reapply after lunch. Not bad for casual days but I wouldnt wear it to an event. Still use it though.
Revlon lipstick was okay but not great. The color looked amazing at first but after lunch it faded fast. I liked the selection of shades though and it was cheap. I think for everyday use good but if you want long lasting maybe look for others.
