Can we talk about how expensive it gets trying to maintain healthy hair? Shampoo, conditioner, treatments, heat protectant… and somehow there’s still a bad hair day waiting around the corner. René Furterer appeals to me because it has that scalp-and-haircare-focused approach rather than being all about styling alone. I’d be interested in products that leave my scalp feeling clean while helping my hair feel softer and easier to manage. I do pay attention to scent and how a formula feels after repeated use, though. A salon-like experience is nice, but I need products that fit into real life and a realistic budget.
My hair was going through a very embarrassing phase where it looked fine for approximately five minutes after washing and then decided to do whatever it wanted. 😭 I picked up René Furterer after a friend recommended it, and I’ve really enjoyed using it. My hair feels lighter and easier to manage, especially around the roots. I also love that it feels like an actual hair-care routine instead of me aggressively dumping conditioner on my head and hoping for the best. My bathroom shelf is slowly turning into a salon.
