I tried the classic shampoo and hair mask expecting clean beauty luxury, but it left a heavy, waxy buildup on my scalp that made my fine hair look greasy by mid-day. It’s also extremely hard to lather, so you end up using four pumps per wash just to cover your scalp. Not worth forty dollars a bottle.
Okay, I really wanted to love Rahua because my hair absolutely needed help and the products sounded promising. The shampoo itself was nice and my hair felt clean without that super-stripped feeling. I also really liked the scent — it smells more like a proper haircare experience than basic drugstore shampoo. BUT. The price. 😭 I kept thinking about how quickly I go through shampoo and conditioner and suddenly the bottles weren’t looking quite as luxurious anymore. I did notice my hair felt softer, but not enough that I personally wanted to spend that much every time I ran out. If money wasn’t a factor, I’d probably use it more often. Unfortunately, my bank account has opinions.
