I bought the No. 4 and No. 5 shampoo and conditioner set directly from their web store. The products themselves work okay, but the pump dispensers on both bottles completely seized up and broke on the very first day. I have to unscrew the entire cap and shake the thick product out manually every time I shower, which is infuriating.

My hair isn’t super damaged, I just wanted to use OLAPLEX for a little extra strength and shine. My friend raves about it, so I bought the No. 3. I’ve used it a few times and while my hair does feel nice and soft afterward, I’m not seeing the huge, transformative results that others talk about. It feels similar to a high-end deep conditioning mask I already own. Maybe it’s because my hair wasn’t that damaged to begin with? It’s a good product, but for the price, I’m not sure it’s necessary for my hair type. It might be better for people who really need serious repair.
