I wanted to love Obagi. I started with the Nu-Derm system to address some fine lines and uneven tone. The results were there—I definitely saw an improvement in my skin’s texture and a little more radiance. However, the constant peeling and irritation were just too much for me. I felt like I couldn’t wear makeup and my skin was always uncomfortably tight. The routine is also pretty intense with multiple steps twice a day. It’s a huge time commitment, and honestly, the side effects were too disruptive for my social and work life.
Their vitamin C serum gave me noticeable brightness within two weeks. My skin tone looks more even.
Definitely not for skincare newbies or sensitive types, but if your skin can handle it, the payoff is real.
