It definitely did something on my recent breakouts but not much on my oily skin. I guess you really can’t have it all

Neutrogena has always been a dependable brand for me. The Hydro Boost line helped with dehydration, and the products are easy to find and reasonably priced compared to many other skincare brands.

This review is difficult because I genuinely enjoyed using it… But I’m not convinced it was worth what I paid.
The cream itself feels beautiful. The scent reminds me of the wellness retreats my sister drags me to every summer. Applying it became part of my evening routine because it felt calming after long shifts at the hospital.
The problem is that my skin looked exactly the same after two months.
Softer? Yes. More hydrated? Sure. But brighter? Firmer? Younger? Not really.
If skincare were judged solely on experience, I’d give it 5 stars. If judged on results, probably 2. So I’m meeting in the middle.

Water gel feels cooling and lightweight, especially during hot weather. cleanser didnt irritate my skin except one time after over exfoliating. only complaint is the gel runs out way too fast for the size they give you.
The Serum is one of those products where I hated the price, then kept using it anyway because the results were obvious. My post-breakout marks looked calmer after a couple weeks, and my skin felt cleaner without being scrubbed raw. It does tingle, so I’d start slowly. I use it with the Cleansing Complex and that combo has been very reliable for me.
I bought the Hydro Boost Water Gel on a lunch break because my skin was doing that tight, flaky thing and I had a meeting after. Honestly it saved me from looking like I slept under a desk. I picked up the Hydro Boost Water Gel and the Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen at Walmart thinking big drugstore brands are just hype but tbh the gel moisturized way better than my last fancy one. Sunscreen didnt leave white cast even when i was outside with my niece at soccer. Only complaint is the lid on the gel cracks easy if u drop it (which i do a lot). Still worth it.

I’ve used their hydro boost moisturizer because it’s always in stores, but it either disappears too fast or I’m just putting too little? I keep trying it again and again but still not sure it actually does anything long term.
Their oil-free acne wash is very effective on my face, my acnes disappear after using it for days and my face is not oily anymore.
Tried this because of all the good reviews and dermatologist backing, but I wish I hadn’t. My skin flaked and I had more breakouts than before.
