Within less than a month of gentle daily use, the rubber cushion started cracking and several tufts of wild boar bristles completely fell out.
This brush is one of the best grooming tools I’ve ever purchased. It glides through my hair effortlessly and improves its overall appearance.
The Mason Pearson brush glides through my hair without pulling or causing breakage. It feels incredibly well made and built to last.
The brush works well for styling, but the cleaning and maintenance process is incredibly frustrating. You cannot submerge the brush in water at all because it damages the rubber cushion base.

I never thought I’d spend this much on a hairbrush but here we are. The Mason Pearson brush actually made my hair look shinier within days. I have thick wavy hair and it detangles without pulling. My wife laughed at the price but now she uses it too.
This brush is ridiculously expensive, but wow. I have long hair that tangles easy and I was breaking hair constantly. Mason Pearson is the first brush that doesn’t feel like it’s ripping my hair out. It also makes my hair look smoother after brushing, almost like I blow dried it. I bought it as a “grown up purchase” and I don’t regret it. Just wish I did it sooner honestly.

While it’s a fantastic brush, it’s not going to completely transform severely damaged hair overnight. It won’t fix split ends or chemical damage. It’s a tool for maintaining and enhancing already healthy hair.

This hair brush has soft bristles and easy to grasp and does not damage hair because it glides through. Does not tangle. Superb product.
