I bought LightStim knowing I would have to be consistent, which is honestly the hardest part for me. I usually use it while watching something at night, and my skin has looked a little calmer and more even since I started. The device is easy enough to use, but the cost definitely made me think twice before buying it.
Save your money and buy an LED mask instead. The device itself works fine, but holding a heavy circular wand to your face in 3-minute increments takes almost 30 minutes total to do your whole face. My arm goes completely numb every night. On top of that, the cord is way too short, so you have to sit awkwardly glued to a wall outlet. After two months of daily use, the power connection became loose and now it constantly shuts off mid-session.
Honestly, I didn’t think I’d notice anything. Then I compared photos from when I started and realized my skin looked noticeably firmer. It has become one of those little routines I don’t want to skip.
