Jan Marini was one of those brands I approached cautiously because I didn’t want to suddenly change my entire routine and regret it. I started with one product and took my time introducing it. So far, I’ve liked the way my skin feels and the smoother look I’ve noticed when I’m consistent. One product was a little strong for me initially, so I had to use it less often. Once I figured that out, things went much better. It’s not the cheapest skincare I’ve bought, but I appreciate that the products feel purposeful rather than just pretty.
The active glycolic acid completely wrecked my skin barrier, leaving me flaking, red, and raw even after reducing usage to twice a week.
