Illamasqua lipstick is amazing for my light skin tone. It also stays put for a long time and doesn’t dry out my lips.
Was excited to try Illamasqua makeup but the foundation oxidized like crazy. I put it on in the morning and by lunchtime my face looked orange. I tried two different shades and same problem. Its expensive makeup but I wasted money. Gave both away now.
Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation is full coverage for real. Covered my acne scars better than most. You only need a tiny bit. Can look heavy if you use too much tho, learned the hard way. Lasts all night.
Love the bold colors and long wear, though some shades are a bit too dramatic for daily use.
Their foundation starts off cute, then betrays you by clinging to every dry patch like a bad situationship. Within hours, it flakes off like you’ve been baking in a desert. Shade range is decent, but the staying power? Nonexistent. Pure catfish makeup.

Bold and unapologetic. That’s Illamasqua for you—I love the intense pigmentation of their eyeshadows and lipsticks, pure colour payoff. However, I did find that the foundation has a slightly sticky texture and felt a bit heavy on my skin, especially in humid weather. Worth it if you’re aiming for high-impact, creative makeup, but maybe prep with a lightweight primer.
Maybe I have chosen the wrong foundation shade for it caked and felt dry when applied.

This foundation feels lightweight but gives really good coverage. It blends easily and leaves my skin looking smooth and natural I love that there are so many shades to choose from. It does cling a little to dry patches, so I make sure to moisturize well before using it.
