The whole wellness-at-home concept is what caught my attention. I like the idea of making time to slow down without having to book an appointment or go anywhere. The products are definitely an investment, though, so I’d consider how often I’d realistically use one before spending that much. It feels like the kind of purchase you should think through, not impulse-buy at midnight 😂
I’m very much the person who says they need to relax and then spends the entire evening scrolling on their phone. 😂 That’s why HigherDOSE caught my attention. The wellness devices are interesting if you’re trying to make recovery and relaxation part of your routine at home. The problem is that these aren’t exactly small purchases, so I’d want to understand how a particular device works, what it’s intended to do, and whether I’d realistically use it more than twice before forgetting about it. I like the idea of investing in a little self-care, but I also think there’s a difference between something that sounds good and something you’ll actually stick with.
I bought a HigherDOSE product during one of my phases where I decided I was going to become a person who actually relaxes instead of just saying “I need to relax” while answering emails. 😂 I ended up really enjoying the whole ritual. I like having something that signals the end of the workday, especially when I’ve been glued to my laptop for hours. The warmth and overall experience are very calming for me, and I genuinely look forward to using it. It isn’t cheap, so this was definitely a splurge. But unlike some of my other “wellness” purchases that disappear into a closet, this one actually gets used.
I was so excited for the LED red light mask, but the silicone straps tore near the connection point after less than a month of normal daily use. On top of that, the upper forehead lights flickered on and off.
I was having one of those weeks where I felt like my brain had about 47 tabs open at once. 😭 I started using this as part of my evening wind-down and really enjoy the ritual. I can’t speak to every claim around it, but I definitely like having something that makes me stop and slow down for a bit.
It took me a couple of sessions to get into the habit of using it. Once I established a routine, I found the whole experience surprisingly relaxing.
I expected the setup to be complicated, but everything was labeled clearly. The hardest part was finding enough space to store it afterward. Once that was sorted, using it became part of my weekend routine.
The sauna blanket was packaged surprisingly well, with everything organized neatly inside. Setup only took about ten minutes, and the instruction guide was much clearer than I expected.

Cute packaging, okay product. The pink moisturiser looks adorable on my shelf, but it’s just okay. Felt nice going on, but I needed more hydration by lunchtime. Might suit oily skin better than mine.
HigherDose sauna blankets are fun and relaxing. I bought one because my back gets stiff from sitting all day and after 3 uses i feel looser and less sore.
for the cost, the payoff felt mild. It’s not a substitute for consistent skincare or medical treatments.
It’s $350 to sit there looking like Iron Man with a charging cable that breaks every other week. And when it does work, the “glow” is so subtle you’d need night vision goggles to see it. I’ll stick to a $15 face mask and good lighting, thanks.
It’s relaxing and warms up nicely, but I found it tricky to position comfortably. The zipped pouch is helpful for storage, though.
The glow serum is awesome but the price is not worth the content. Make it bigger.
I tried the infrared sauna blanket, and it makes me feel relaxed, detoxed, and even helps my sleep. It’s bulky to store, but the results are worth it.

The glow serum Gives a nice glow and feels lightweight on the skin. Works well under LED light, but even on its own, it makes my skin look fresh. A bit pricey, but a solid serum if you’re into light therapy.
