I bought a skincare gadget thinking it would magically turn me into someone with a perfect morning routine. Spoiler alert: I still hit snooze. 😂 But I do enjoy using FOREO’s devices when I actually make time for skincare. The design is cute, and it’s fun to try something different from the usual cleanser-and-moisturizer routine. My only hesitation is the price. It’s the kind of purchase I’d research for ages before finally convincing myself to get it.
I’m always intrigued by beauty gadgets, even though I know perfectly well that buying a device is the easy part. Remembering to use it consistently? That’s where the plot usually falls apart. 😂 FOREO’s skincare devices appeal to me because they bring a more hands-on element to a routine, and some are designed to make cleansing feel different from the usual wash-and-rinse situation. I’d check the specific device, cleaning instructions, and whether it actually adds something useful to my routine before spending the money. I’m not expecting a gadget to solve every skin concern, but if it’s convenient, comfortable, and easy to maintain, I can see it becoming a regular part of someone’s routine.
I bought a FOREO because apparently I cannot walk past a cute little skincare gadget without becoming convinced I need it. 😂 I was expecting to use it for a week and forget about it, but I’ve actually kept it in my routine. I like the little massage/cleansing aspect, especially at night when I’m washing off a full face of makeup. It makes cleansing feel less rushed. The downside is that I have to remind myself not to get carried away because more scrubbing is not automatically better. I also think the device is more of a nice addition than a complete necessity. But I like having it around and genuinely reach for it.
I’ve been using the FOREO LUNA 4 for about six months now. The ultra-hygienic silicone bristles are so much better than the old bristle brushes that used to harbor bacteria.
I honestly wasn’t sure I needed a cleansing device until I tried FOREO. My skin does feel cleaner and smoother afterward, but I could live without the extra app features and I think the device is pretty expensive for what it does.
