Egyptian Magic is my “everything jar.” I use it on dry patches, elbows, lips, even cuticles. It’s super thick so you have to warm it in your hands first. I wouldn’t use it on my whole face because I might break out, but on dry areas it works great. My kid had a rough dry spot on his hands and it helped too. Smells kinda like honey-ish.
I first heard about Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream from a friend who swore it healed everything. I used it on a dry patch on my elbow and it worked better than any lotion I had tried before. I also dabbed a tiny bit on my lips at night and woke up with smooth lips.
However, it is very thick and hard to spread so a little goes a long way. I accidentally used too much on my face once and ended up greasy all day, which was uncomfortable in hot weather. I think Egyptian Magic works best if you know how to use a small amount or mix it with your moisturizer.
Overall I like it as a multi-purpose balm but I would not replace my regular skincare with it. Great for dry areas but not as everyday face cream for oily seasons.
Egyptian Magic is my holy grail for dry skin. I use it at night like a sleeping mask and I wake up glowing. It melts into the skin and feels so soothing. I even used it on a small burn and it healed faster. I love products that can do more than one thing and this one definitely does. A little goes a long way so the jar lasts forever.
The statistics show that cleaner skin is way more important than the skincare routine you are using, I like this brand but it’s a bit pricey.
