My curls looked really defined after styling, and I loved how soft they felt instead of stiff and crunchy. I did have to experiment with the amount because too much product made my hair look weighed down. It’s been a mixed experience overall, but there are a few products I still enjoy using.
My first few uses were actually great. My curls looked bouncier and more defined, and I liked how soft they felt. Unfortunately, after continued use my scalp started feeling uncomfortable, so I eventually stopped. I think this is one of those brands where individual hair and scalp types make a huge difference.
DevaCurl has helped give my curls more definition while keeping them from feeling overly stiff. I did have to experiment with how much product to use because too much can weigh my hair down.
I had to do two clarifying treatments just to wash the heavy silicone like film off my hair. For a brand built on curly hair care, they continue to disappoint.

Sadly my curls got weighed down and a little dull after trying several products. Not the results I expected.
The scent is pleasant and it doesn’t weigh down my hair. I deducted a bit because the price is higher than my usual, and shipping to the Philippines took a little while. But overall it’s among the best curl-care brands I’ve tried.
