My skincare routine has gone through so many phases, from buying whatever was trending to finally paying attention to what my skin actually needs. Biopelle feels like a more intentional step in that direction. I appreciate skincare that fits into a routine without making everything complicated. The products have a more clinical feel than the fun, colorful brands I used to gravitate toward, which I personally like. It’s definitely positioned as a premium option, so I’d want to be selective about what I buy rather than order a whole lineup at once.
The tensage intensive serum 40 ampoules work well for healing skin after microneedling, but the glass packaging is a hazard. You have to physically snap open the little glass tops, and twice now I’ve ended up with tiny shards of glass mixed into the liquid or cutting my fingers. For a medical-grade skincare line, they seriously need to redesign these ampoules into a plastic dropper or pump system.
To be fair, my skin healed remarkably fast and looked luminous within days. However, opening these tiny glass ampoules is a complete safety hazard. Despite using the provided plastic sleeve, the neck shattered unevenly twice, leaving microscopic glass shards inside the serum that I almost put on my face.
