I’m allergic to perfumes and react easily to sunscreens. Avène SPF 50+ felt soothing at first, but after a week my skin developed clogged pores and occasional breakouts

I have super sensitive skin, so Avène’s thermal spring water and calming creams were a great fit initially. They’re soothing and gentle, no doubt. But I found many of their formulas too basic over time. Cicalfate+ worked well post-treatment but didn’t wow me otherwise. A safe brand for sensitive skin—but not a transformative one.
