The products absorbed quickly and felt lightweight. My skin looked brighter after consistent use.
I am highly allergic to whatever active or preservative is in the Algenist triple algae eye cream. Within two hours of putting it on, my eyes swelled up, became bloodshot, and the skin underneath turned bright red and scaly. It looked like a chemical burn.
The moisturizer gave my skin a healthy glow and kept it hydrated throughout the day.
I notice an instant plumping effect every single time I use it, and the tiny microalgae oil bubbles burst beautifully into the skin. My fine lines are completely minimized and my face feels incredibly bouncy and resilient.
The collagen serum helped make my skin feel firmer and smoother. I noticed improvements after about three weeks of regular use. Texture is lightweight and easy to layer.
Algenist products felt lightweight but still hydrating enough for daily use. I noticed my skin looking smoother and more refreshed after about a month, especially around dry areas near my cheeks.
Overall, I wasn’t satisfied with my experience. The skincare line looks premium, but I found similar results from more affordable brands.
The Genius Collagen made my skin look more hydrated after a few uses. I wouldn’t say it completely changed my skin or anything but it definitely helped with dryness. Texture also feels really smooth.

The GENIUS Liquid Collagen made my fine lines softer in pics. Didn’t expect results so quick.
Their Genius Collagen is one of the few that actually plumps my skin. Pricey but very effective.

I’m a big fan of science-backed brands, and Algenist’s Genius Liquid Collagen genuinely surprised me. Within 3–4 weeks, my skin looked bouncier, and some of my fine lines had softened. It’s not sticky like a lot of collagen serums either. I also tried the Complete Eye Renewal Balm, which didn’t do much for me—but that collagen serum? Legit.
So lightweight, yet so moisturizing.
