Aesop is honestly as much about the experience as the skincare for me. The packaging looks beautiful, the herbal scents are distinctive, and the products feel lovely to use. That said, some of the prices make me stop and think whether I really need another bottle. The brand’s reviews similarly praise its scent, packaging, and sensory experience while questioning the premium pricing.
I originally bought Aesop because the packaging looked nice on my bathroom counter. Not going to lie. 😂 But the hand wash ended up being the thing I kept buying. The scent makes washing my hands feel weirdly luxurious, and now regular soap just feels a little… sad.
Aesop products feel luxurious and have such distinctive herbal scents. I especially like the textures and how clean my skin feels afterward, although the prices are high.
The Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum has one of the nicest textures I’ve used. It feels lightweight, absorbs quickly, and gives my skin a hydrated finish without making it greasy. The herbal scent is distinctive and won’t be for everyone, but I found the overall experience relaxing enough to make it part of my nightly routine.

For a brand that charges premium prices, the packaging design of the fabulous facial cleanser is completely flawed. The glass bottle looks nice on the counter, but trying to pour a viscous liquid out of a wide open mouth glass bottle in a slippery shower is a recipe for disaster. Half the product spilled down the drain on week one.

Beyond the iconic, minimalist design that looks amazing in any bathroom, Aesop’s Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Intense Serum is phenomenal. It provides a lightweight, breathable barrier against city pollution and hydrates my skin perfectly without the need for a heavy cream.
Aesop products feel incredibly high quality. The hand wash and facial cleanser smell amazing and leave my skin feeling clean but never stripped. Expensive, yes, but the experience feels luxurious.

Aesop hand soaps are such a treat, amazing scents and sleek bottles. Docking a star because of how expensive they are for everyday use.
